Along with maintaining production pace, businesses have developed plans and prepared resources to implement many activities to take care of employees during Tet.
Closing a working year, perhaps everyone is looking forward to a full Tet. Therefore, with 4,500 employees, Weitai Ha Long Textile and Garment Company Limited has soon built a plan to take care of Tet for employees, ensuring a stable life and peace of mind to be attached to the unit. The company coordinated with the Ha Long City Labor Federation to organize Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Party with many meaningful activities, such as: Giving gifts to employees in difficult circumstances, lucky draw, lucky money...; The company rewards 1 month of minimum wage to employees.
Mr. Ha Tu Van, Executive Director and External Relations of Weitai Ha Long Textile Co., Ltd., said: With the desire to bring a full Tet to workers, the unit will pay full salaries and bonuses early. In addition to the bonus of 1 month of minimum wage, the unit will give a lucky money to encourage workers on the first day of the new year of At Ty. At the same time, the unit will continue to maintain the transportation of workers home for Tet and return to work.
The year 2024 will face many difficulties for businesses in the province, especially the impacts of storm No. 3, but businesses will strive to overcome difficulties, complete production and business plans, and organize many activities to take care of Tet for workers.
Ms. Tran Thu Ha, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hoang Gia International Joint Stock Company, shared: Despite many difficulties, this year the Company has completed its business targets. The Company awarded a 13th month salary to encourage, motivate, and take care of the Tet holiday for employees. Each officer, employee, and worker was also given a Tet gift bag including vermicelli, rice, green beans, cooking oil, etc., participated in the year-end party, lucky draw, etc. The Company also visited and gave gifts to encourage employees in difficult circumstances.
Not only Tet bonuses, year-end parties, and practical gifts, many "Union Homes" for cadres, workers, and laborers have been supported, completed, and put into use during these days before Tet, helping them settle down, find work, and continue to be attached to the unit.
Mr. Bui Van Vinh, Chairman of the Trade Union of Uong Bi Coal Company - TKV, said: In 2024, the Trade Union of Uong Bi Coal Company - TKV surveyed, assessed, and approved support for workers and laborers to build 23 new houses and repair 3 houses. Each worker and laborer was supported with 80 million VND from the "Union Shelter" fund of TKV Trade Union and 10 million VND from the Company Trade Union. Currently, 20 houses have been inaugurated, handed over, and provided with support funds. The Company Trade Union is urging the inauguration, handover, and provision of support funds for the remaining 6 houses before Tet, creating conditions for workers and laborers to celebrate Tet in peace, warmth, and happiness.
Mr. Hoang Van He (miner, Mining Workshop 27, Uong Bi Coal Company - TKV) shared: This year's Lunar New Year is the happiest Tet for my family. Because my family gets to celebrate Tet in a new, solid, and spacious house. My wife does not have a stable job, raising 3 children to study, and my eldest son has encephalitis, so for many years my family has had to live in an old, dilapidated house. Luckily, my family has not only received attention from the Company to create favorable conditions for work, helping me have a stable income of 30 million VND/month, but also support in building a house, living together, and working with peace of mind.
The caring and attentive activities of enterprises not only help workers celebrate Tet happily, warmly and happily, but also promptly encourage and motivate, create solidarity, attachment, create trust and excitement to compete in production and determined for a successful new year.
