On the afternoon of October 16, Quang Ninh Coal Union held a conference to review the work of the Union in the first 9 months of the year, deploy tasks for the fourth quarter and summarize the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. Quang Ninh Coal Union held a preliminary review of the Union's work in the first 9 months of the year, deployed tasks for the fourth quarter and summarized the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. Implementing the work of the Union and the Youth Volunteer Movement in the first 9 months of the year, the movement activities of the Quang Ninh Coal Union (TQN) at all levels have had many innovations, practicality, suitable to actual conditions, meeting the needs and aspirations of a large number of Youth Union members. Propaganda and education work continued to be effectively implemented with more than 750 articles published; organized more than 20 activities to return to the source; honored 36 young talents, 45 advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2023. The entire Union organized the donation of more than 1,250 units of blood; deployed more than 100 campaigns to carry out environmental sanitation work attracting more than 4,500 Youth Union members to participate; planted more than 69,000 trees and fruit trees of all kinds. The whole Union has 42 topics, 203 initiatives with a value of 287 million VND; implemented 21 projects at the TQN Youth Union level; 243 projects at the grassroots and branch levels; 308 models of youth management and participation in management; implemented 84 inspections, coordinated inspections of occupational safety and health, security and order with 622 Youth Union members participating. In particular, in the face of the damage caused by storm No. 3, the TQN Youth Union directed its affiliated Youth Union units to mobilize over 5,000 Youth Union members to actively participate in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, helping units quickly return to normal production; awarded support funds to affected units totaling 40 million VND; supported people in Cao Bang province with 25 million VND. In the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, over 1,560 articles were published; 10 entries were submitted to the "Volunteer Moment" contest; 1 training course was organized; 108 outstanding members were introduced to the Party for consideration. During the campaign, 24 grassroots projects and more than 300 branch projects were carried out; over 90 environmental sanitation campaigns were organized; 10,000 new trees and fruit trees of all kinds were planted; many social security projects were carried out, accompanying youth and children with a total budget of nearly 1 billion VND; 4 youth volunteer teams were organized with over 600 youth union members donating 540 units of blood; 4 youth volunteer teams were established with over 80 youth union members participating in the "Supporting the exam season" campaign; 18 sports competitions were organized with over 970 youth union members participating...
