In the solemn atmosphere of the death anniversary, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi and members of the delegation of Nghe An province respectfully offered incense and offerings at the temple of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac. Before the spirit of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, the delegates from Nghe An expressed their deep respect and gratitude for the contributions, morality and personality of the Vice-Chancellor - the first teacher and also the one who sowed the seeds of revolution, spread the patriotic ideology, and shaped the personality of his son Nguyen Sinh Cung, later President Ho Chi Minh.
The life and career of Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac is a typical example of the culture and character of the people of Nghe An: patriotism, love for the people, eagerness to learn and good at studying, constantly fighting for the happiness of the people, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac was born in 1862 in Sen Village, Chung Cu Commune, Lam Thinh District, Nam Duong District (now Sen 2 Hamlet, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province), in a Confucian family with a tradition of patriotism and hard work. His father was Nguyen Sinh Nham - a gentle, simple farmer who loved to work; his mother was Ha Thi Hy - a capable and talented woman.
His parents died early and his family was in difficult circumstances, but Nguyen Sinh Sac was determined to study hard and was always encouraged and supported by his wife, Hoang Thi Loan. At the Hoi examination in the year of Tan Suu (1901), Nguyen Sinh Sac passed the Pho Bang exam.
After passing the exam, he did not become an official, but returned to his hometown to take care of his old mother and taught for 5 years, and only became an official in the year of Binh Ngo (1906). After leaving the officialdom, Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac went to the South to teach and practice medicine to help the people, and contacted patriotic Confucian scholars.
In his last years, he lived in Hoa An village, now Hoa An commune, Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province. On October 27, Ky Ty year (1929), due to serious illness and poor health, he passed away. Admiring his patriotism and love for the people, the local people at that time, although most of them were very poor, still joined hands to arrange a proper burial for him at Troi Sanh temple, next to Hoa Long pagoda.
Today, the tomb of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac has been renovated, built spaciously, cared for and worshiped by the Party Committee, Government and People of Dong Thap province. The tomb has become a National Historical and Cultural Relic Site and is an address to educate the patriotic and revolutionary traditions of Dong Thap province and the Mekong Delta region.

Offering incense and fresh flowers to the tomb of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province shared: "We are very moved to attend the 94th death anniversary of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac. Nghe An people are also very grateful to the Party Committee, Government and People of Dong Thap province for taking care of and worshiping the tomb of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac for many years. The life and career of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac will always be a shining example for today's generation to learn and follow."

On this occasion, from socialized sources, the delegation of Nghe An province supported the Nguyen Sinh Sac Scholarship Fund of Dong Thap province with 50 million VND; the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province presented souvenirs to the Management Board of the Tomb Relic Site of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac.
