During the September 2nd holiday, with favorable weather, tourist attractions of Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Center have improved service quality, added many new and unique entertainment products…

At the tourist attractions of Phong Nha Cave, Tien Son, Nuoc Mooc Stream, Chay River - Dark Cave, and Tam Co Cave (belonging to Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center), there were about 21,000 visitors, an increase of 45% over the same period.

On this occasion, tourist attractions at Thien Duong Cave, Hava Valley, Ozo Park, experiential tourism products, nature exploration at Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, night street at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area (Regal Legend), Bao Ninh, Nhat Le, Quang Phu beaches, Ho Chi Minh Square have a large number of tourists and people.

Many cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities in Quang Binh province have attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate. In particular, the traditional boat racing and rowing festival on Kien Giang river; the traditional boat racing festival on Nhat Le river, Quang Ninh district has attracted tens of thousands of people and tourists to watch and cheer.

According to a quick report from the Quang Binh Department of Tourism, the number of tourists arriving during the September 2 holiday is estimated to reach 175,000, an increase of 9.4% compared to the 2023 holiday. Of which, international visitors are about 1,900, an increase of 26.7% compared to the 2023 holiday.

International tourists traveling in groups served by travel agencies, concentrated in the US, UK, Japan markets... Total revenue from tourists is estimated to reach 201.3 billion VND, an increase of 14.4% compared to the 2023 holiday season.

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of Quang Binh Department of Tourism, said that during this year's National Day holiday, domestic tourists coming to Quang Binh mainly travel in groups of friends and families by personal car.

Along with tourists from major centers such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, tourists from provinces in the North Central region such as Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang... come to Quang Binh for holidays in large numbers.
