Quang Binh has a new Provincial Party Secretary

(TN&MT) - The Politburo has assigned Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, General Director of Vietnam Television (VTV) to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On the morning of October 31, the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission chaired the conference.

At the conference, comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organizing Committee, announced Decision No. 1626-QDNS/TW dated October 25, 2024 of the Politburo on mobilizing, assigning and appointing comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the decision to comrade Le Ngoc Quang.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Minh Hung affirmed that comrade Le Ngoc Quang had received basic training and had worked in many positions at Vietnam Television; was a capable and experienced cadre, always excellently completing assigned tasks, and was trusted by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee.

"Taking on the task of Provincial Party Secretary is a new job, therefore, comrade Le Ngoc Quang needs to quickly absorb and grasp the work to work with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and the provincial leadership to lead and direct socio-economic development, ensure security and national defense, and first of all focus on overcoming the consequences of the recent floods." - comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized.

Comrade Le Ngoc Quang - New Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Le Ngoc Quang deeply thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for entrusting him with the important responsibility of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee - his homeland with a rich revolutionary tradition; at the same time, he promised to promote the achievements of the locality, make efforts and strive to fulfill the assigned tasks; together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee, promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, continue to successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Quang Binh Provincial Party Congress.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was born in 1974, hometown: Thieu Duong commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province. He used to hold the positions of Deputy Head of News Department, Head of News Department, Deputy General Director, General Director of Vietnam Television Station. At the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.
