Tay Dang Communal House - a unique 16th century architectural work
Tay Dang Communal House is located in Dong village, Tay Dang town, Ba Vi district, Hanoi, considered one of the most typical ancient communal houses in Vietnam, famous for its unique architecture and great historical and cultural value. It was ranked as a special national monument in 2013. Tay Dang Communal House bears the strong imprint of Mac Dynasty architecture with the "gong price" structure, including 5 compartments, 8 rows of horizontal columns and 6 rows of vertical columns, creating a total of 48 large ironwood pillars. With its ancient, solemn beauty and great cultural value, Tay Dang Communal House has become a spiritual and cultural tourist destination attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
