The program Trinh Cong Son - Song of Peace will bring interesting moments.
The program is produced by Quang Tri Radio and Television Station in collaboration with the Trinh Cong Son Family and CLC Global Company. The producer said: “The program is a way to use artistic language, under the romantic and philosophical lens of Trinh Cong Son's music, to convey to the audience the meaning of peace.
The program is divided into 3 parts, with “Let me go raise up peace”, “Love song of peace” and “Let’s love each other”. In the part “Let me go raise up peace”, the audience will come to the works in the Da Vang song selection by musician Trinh Cong Son such as: “Waiting to see the bright homeland”, “Nguoi me O Ly”, “Ca dao me”, “Ta thay gi dem nay”, “Xin cho toi”…
The war past in Trinh Cong Son's music is like a picture full of reality but also full of love. There, we can see the suffering of human fate: small, miserable in the days of bombs and bullets. War only brings a dark color, looking straight into the pain of war to see the meaninglessness of violence.
But the music of the talented musician Trinh Cong Son is not only that. Even in those anti-war songs, we can clearly see the desire for peace in each verse. The desire for peace is the common voice of the Vietnamese people in particular and of all humanity in general: “Let me go rebuild the love story, Let me go raise up peace…”
Singer Cam Van at the program introduction on July 6
In the section “Peaceful love songs”, beautiful love songs will appear such as “Old love song”, “White summer”, “Hey em co nho”, “Con tuoi nao cho em”, “Hanh pilgrim tren doi cao” …
And in “Let’s love each other” with the message “Peace, is regardless of skin color, nationality, gender, generation, viewpoint, past, but together towards a bright future of love, friendship, care for future generations. Let’s love each other is an extremely meaningful message for this program, for everyone”.
The program includes veteran artists such as Cam Van, Quang Dung, Duc Tuan, and especially the participation of singer Trinh Vinh Trinh - sister of musician Trinh Cong Son.
Korean violinist Jmi Ko, American singer Kyo York and little Cindy will take on the international exchange part of the program, as Trinh's music is not only for Vietnamese and the elderly. The collaboration of Cece Truong and An Tran will also be a breath of fresh air for the program.
