(CLO) On November 23, Van Hoa Newspaper coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province to organize a workshop on "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in Quang Ngai province".
Speaking at the workshop, Editor-in-Chief of Van Hoa Newspaper Nguyen Anh Vu said that through the workshop, the potential and good traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities will be evaluated in association with tourism development in Quang Ngai province.

Clarifying the current situation of preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in Quang Ngai province as well as the Central region and the whole country.
Assessing risks and challenges in the development process and orienting tourism development associated with cultural preservation; Models and examples of good implementation of conservation and promotion of good traditional cultural values associated with tourism development. Training of human resources for tourism in ethnic minority areas; Connecting tourist destinations in ethnic minority areas in particular, Quang Ngai destinations to tourist centers across the country;
Propose specific mechanisms, policies and solutions to effectively preserve and promote good traditional cultural values associated with tourism development as well as solutions for developing Quang Ngai tourism in the coming time.
At the workshop, delegates were given opinions on models and typical examples of good implementation of the work of preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development by experts and speakers from the Department of Propaganda (Ethnic Committee), the Institute of Tourism Development Research, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the Vietnam Travel Association, the Da Nang Tourism Association, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam and Binh Dinh, folk culture researchers and folk artisans.
Delegates also proposed solutions to effectively implement the work of preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in conjunction with current tourism development...
