Ensuring power supply for the festival

In preparation for the Vietnam Salt Festival - Bac Lieu in 2025, Bac Lieu Electricity Company has developed plans to provide stable, safe, and continuous electricity during the Festival.

ENSURING A CONVENIENT AND SAFE POWER SUPPLY

The 2025 Vietnam - Bac Lieu Salt Festival will take place from March 6 to 8 with many programs and activities. The locations where many of the Festival's events will take place are Bac Lieu City, Dong Hai District and Hoa Binh District. In addition, there are also tourist attractions, historical and cultural relics in the province. Therefore, the plan to ensure electricity supply is being urgently implemented by Bac Lieu Electricity Company.

Every year, ensuring electricity for political, cultural, social activities and events and serving people's daily life and production is always a concern of Bac Lieu Electricity Company, focusing on enhancing its role in ensuring safe, stable and reliable electricity supply.

Regarding the upcoming Vietnam - Bac Lieu Salt Festival 2025, Mr. Tran Huu Khoa - Director of Bac Lieu Electricity Company said that to ensure sufficient power supply for the Festival, Bac Lieu Electricity Company has developed a plan very early. Immediately after receiving Plan 206, dated December 25, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the tasks of organizing the first Vietnam - Bac Lieu Salt Festival, the Company proactively coordinated with the Festival organizer and related departments and branches to survey the event location, check the load to have a plan to provide safe and stable electricity.

BUILDING A POWER SUPPLY PLAN FOR THE FESTIVAL

On February 21, 2025, Bac Lieu Electricity Company established Plan 882 on ensuring power supply for the organization of the Vietnam - Bac Lieu Salt Festival in 2025. In which, the Company deployed and directed units to implement contents such as not performing work with power cuts or power supply interruptions at the locations of the Vietnam - Bac Lieu Salt Festival in 2025. Arrange backup generators so that in case of power outage, power supply is still ensured to serve the activities in the event chain, especially the main activities: Opening ceremony at Hung Vuong Square, Bac Lieu Investment Promotion Conference and Closing ceremony at the Provincial Cultural Center... Review and re-check the means, equipment, and spare materials to prepare and be ready to handle quickly when bad situations occur. Increase personnel to the shift departments, assign repair workers, and be ready to be on duty when mobilized.

In addition, the Company also deployed to its affiliated units to increase the frequency of grid inspections to promptly detect defects for timely handling, absolutely not allowing subjective incidents to affect the power supply plan to serve the Vietnam Salt Festival - Bac Lieu in 2025. In particular, during the main program days of the festival, Bac Lieu Electricity will arrange 100% of human resources to be on duty at the locations and on duty at the unit's Control Center. On the other hand, it will strengthen the inspection and overcome the existing problems on the operating grid so that the grid system is always ready to serve the Festival. In addition, the Company has proactively reviewed accommodation facilities to have a plan to ensure power supply during the Festival.
