The houses were handed over to 8 households living in Xeo Duoc 1 hamlet, Xeo Duoc 3 hamlet, Tay Son 1 hamlet, Tay Son 2 hamlet and Tay Son 3 hamlet.
Each house has an area of 36-50m2 ; construction costs range from 60-80 million VND/house, of which the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Kien Giang Province supports 60 million VND/house, the rest is contributed by family and relatives; officers and soldiers of the commune's armed forces support labor days.
These are 8 houses assigned by Kien Giang Provincial Police to Dong Yen Commune Police in coordination with departments, branches, and commune organizations to implement in the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
On this occasion, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Kien Giang Province Police presented 160kg of rice to 8 households; at the same time, propagated the Law on Drug Prevention and Control to the people.
