TH Group is the enterprise with the largest investment capital in Dak Nong, up to 3.6 billion USD.
Speaking at the Conference, Labor Hero Thai Huong, Founder - Chairman of TH Group's Strategy Council emphasized the requirement of sustainable development, taking Mother Nature as the foundation, people as the center and sustainable development strategy.
Citing the success of the TH Group's $1.2 billion dairy farming and high-tech milk processing project in Nghia Dan (Nghe An) as an example, businesswoman Thai Huong said that to have a successful project that has an impact on the country and the province, there must be 3 groups of factors.
The first is the financial capacity and management capacity of the investor. The second is the actual industry resources in the locality, the advantages of land and soil. The third is the participation of the local government, especially the role of the leader.

“If all three of those factors are present, the project will certainly be successful. During my research and work in the Central Highlands, especially in Dak Nong, I realized that all three of those factors are present,” said Ms. Thai Huong.
According to businesswoman Thai Huong, Dak Nong province's leaders are truly united and looking in the same direction. Dak Nong also has three very potential sectors. The first is processing industry, including mineral processing and agricultural and forestry processing, high-tech agriculture, processing industry, and supporting industry. The second is resort tourism and retirement tourism. The third is agriculture.
According to Businesswoman Thai Huong, Vietnam ranks second in the world in bauxite reserves for the production of alumina and aluminum, of which Dak Nong accounts for 30%, with thick seams and good mine quality.
"Now that the world's technology is available, we inherit the most advanced technology, bringing this mining industry to follow a circular economy on the basis of sustainable development. To do so, we must plan right from the time of establishing the mining project: what will this area do after being dug up and exploited: to develop agriculture, or tourism, urban development... This ensures that it is suitable and does not disrupt the province's development plan," Ms. Thai Huong proposed.
Regarding tourism, Dak Nong has very beautiful landscapes. On the basis of farms, historical tourism, cultural tourism, and farm tourism will be developed.
Regarding agriculture, the land in Dak Nong is very good, and there is plenty of water, so there are enough conditions to develop high-tech agriculture and do business under the forest canopy. Develop fruit trees and trees with high value for essential oils; build a logistics area for deep processing...

“Dak Nong has all the conditions for strong development. Therefore, TH Group has invested a total capital of up to 3.6 billion USD in the fields of agriculture, forestry and herbs; trade, services, tourism; mining industry, renewable energy, accompanying Dak Nong province to implement projects in many fields where the province has advantages,” said businesswoman Thai Huong.
Proposing solutions for the development of the Central Highlands in general and Dak Nong in particular, Ms. Thai Huong said that Dak Nong's agriculture has great potential but has not been used effectively. She proposed to review and if the land is ineffective, transfer it to businesses with large, effective projects for them to implement.
Businesswoman Thai Huong suggested that there should be specific policies for the Central Highlands region, regarding agriculture. In particular, it is necessary to support farmers with fertilizers and seeds. Enterprises need to be supported with interest rate packages.
“I have created a project on the Central Highlands and sent it to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. If only a few corporations invest here, the Central Highlands, the border region of the Fatherland, will be able to promote its strengths. Businesses that follow this sustainable development direction should be encouraged,” said businesswoman Thai Huong.
