Meritorious Artist Khuong Duc Thuan is one of three artists in the People's Public Security force whose names are on the list of artists who were awarded the title of People's Artist for the 10th time in 2023 by the President.
Director, Meritorious Artist Khuong Duc Thuan (born 1958) is currently an actor of the People's Public Security Drama Troupe (CAND), now the CAND Drama Theater.
He studied at the University of Theatre and Cinema with artists such as Tat Binh, Nguyen Anh Dung... After graduating, he became an actor in the Central Liberation Army Art Troupe.
In 1976, Khuong Duc Thuan became an actor of the Hanoi Cheo Troupe, but he realized that it was not his land. In 1982, the male artist decided to join the Drama Troupe, People's Police Theater, this was a major turning point in Khuong Duc Thuan's artistic career.
