The 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thuan Nam district

On May 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Thuan Nam district held its 3rd Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the meeting were comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

During the past term, the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Nam district have made great efforts in gathering and uniting people of all walks of life to promote the tradition of patriotism, the will of self-reliance, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, actively coordinating and organizing patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, striving to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development of the locality. The role of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations has had a positive impact on the successful implementation of many policies and guidelines of the Party and State, meeting the legitimate aspirations of people of all walks of life, making the revolutionary movement among the people increasingly progressive; the lives of people of all walks of life, ethnic groups, and religions have been improved; national defense and security have been maintained, people's trust in the Party's innovation cause has become increasingly solid, the great solidarity of ethnic groups has been constantly consolidated and expanded.

Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of Thuan Nam district attended the congress.

Speaking at the congress, the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee highly appreciated the results achieved by the Thuan Nam District Fatherland Front in the past term, making positive contributions to the local socio-economic development. In the coming time, he suggested that the Thuan Nam District Fatherland Front continue to closely follow the Party's viewpoints and policies, especially Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country increasingly prosperous and happy. On that basis, synchronously and resolutely and effectively deploy the groups of solutions stated in the resolution; continue to innovate thinking, working methods, propaganda, and mobilize people to actively respond and participate in patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. At the same time, pay attention to implementing well the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister and the Program to build residential areas "Self-governed, united, prosperous, happy". Improve supervision, social criticism, and contribute ideas to build a clean and strong Party and State; actively participate in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; focus on building a team of Front officials at all levels in the district with sufficient qualities, capacity, creativity, enthusiasm, and responsibility in performing assigned tasks.

The congress conducted consultations to elect 47 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Nam district, term III. Comrade Dang Trung Hoa was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Nam district, term III, 2024 - 2029.
