The 5th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thuan Bac district

On May 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Thuan Bac district held its 5th Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the meeting were comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

During the past term, the Fatherland Front of Thuan Bac district and its member organizations have innovated their working methods, focusing on the grassroots, close to the people. Information and propaganda work has been promoted, patriotic emulation movements and campaigns have attracted the participation of many classes of people, especially effectively implementing social security policies, caring for the lives of poor, near-poor and ethnic minority households; building new rural areas, maintaining security and order. Activities of participating in Party and government building; social supervision and criticism have been focused on innovation, focusing on issues related to people's lives.

In the 2024-2029 term, the Fatherland Front of Thuan Bac district will focus on innovating the content and methods of operation in a substantial and effective manner; diversifying the methods of gathering and mobilizing people to actively participate in responding to campaigns and emulation movements. Strive to have each commune have at least 1 sustainable poverty reduction livelihood model by the end of the term; basically complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households and people affected by natural disasters; 100% of the Village Front Working Committees will successfully complete their tasks...

Speaking at the congress, comrade Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, highly appreciated the results achieved by the Thuan Bac District Fatherland Front in the past term, making positive contributions to the local socio-economic development. In the coming time, he suggested that the Thuan Bac District Fatherland Front continue to closely follow the Party's viewpoints and policies, especially Resolution No. 43 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be more and more prosperous and happy. On that basis, synchronously and resolutely and effectively deploy the 7 groups of solutions stated in the resolution; continue to innovate thinking, working methods, propaganda, and mobilize people to actively respond and participate in patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. At the same time, pay attention to effectively implementing the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister and the Program to build "Self-governed, united, prosperous and happy" residential areas. Improve supervision, social criticism, and contribute ideas to build a clean and strong Party and State; actively participate in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; focus on building a team of Front officials at all levels in the district with sufficient qualities, capacity, creativity, enthusiasm and responsibility in performing assigned tasks.

The congress elected 47 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Bac district, term V. Comrade Lu Phung Truong was re-elected to the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Bac district, term 2024 - 2029.
