On the morning of July 12, in Vinh City, the 7th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province for the 2024-2029 term took place.

The 7th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province, term 2024 - 2029, is a festival of solidarity of all youths in the province, marking the development in both quality and quantity of the Union's work and youth movement. During the past term, the Union's work and youth movement of Nghe An province have achieved important results, contributing positively to the economic, political and social development of the province.

The Association's activities, programs and movements have been implemented in a diverse and innovative manner in terms of content and form, suitable to the actual situation of the locality and unit, attracting a large number of youth members to participate. The movement "I love my Fatherland" has been widely deployed and deeply embedded in the lives of young people, encouraging, urging and calling on a large number of young people to express their patriotism through concrete actions.

With the slogan of action "Nghe An Youth, aspiration - pioneer - solidarity - creativity - development" for the term 2024-2029, Nghe An Youth Union will build a generation of Nghe An youth who are patriotic, brave, have revolutionary ideals; are proactive, voluntary, ethical, have a cultural lifestyle; develop healthily, comprehensively in intelligence, physical strength, and spirit. Discover, nurture, and replicate examples of advanced youth. Care for and look after disadvantaged youth groups, those lacking development opportunities, to overcome difficulties and rise up in life. Building a strong Vietnam Youth Union at all levels, with the capacity to unite and widely gather young people from all walks of life, strongly promoting the pioneering, proactive and creative role of Nghe An youth in building and defending the Fatherland, especially in international integration, national digital transformation, together with the Party Committee and people's government at all levels, to successfully carry out the tasks of economic, political, cultural and social development of the province.

Speaking at the congress, comrades Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Nghe An Youth Union has achieved in the recent past. In the coming term, the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province will continue to build and strengthen the great solidarity bloc, widely gather all classes of youth, ensure high unity in ideology and action, strive to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, towards the common goal of maintaining national independence and sovereignty, maintaining political and social stability, creating a peaceful and favorable environment for young people to make important contributions to the cause of building the homeland and the country;

Continue to work with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to do a good job of educating and orienting young people, contributing to building a new generation of young people with heart, intelligence, talent, self-respect and autonomy; Promote the launching and organization of patriotic emulation movements among young people; encourage young people to actively participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, building cultural life in residential areas, for the life of the community. It is necessary to focus on taking care of consolidating and building a strong Union organization, focusing on improving the quality of members; It is necessary to proactively advise on appropriate policies and mechanisms to ensure legitimate benefits for its members.
