At the meeting, the City People's Committee agreed with the proposals of the Department of Construction regarding the appraisal of local adjustments to the general planning of Da Nang City until 2030, with a vision to 2045, and at the same time approved the regulations on construction order management in the area. The issuance of these regulations aims to strictly control construction activities, limit illegal and unlicensed construction, and contribute to creating a modern and civilized urban area.
In addition, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh requested to temporarily suspend projects to build new, repair, renovate offices, and purchase assets of agencies, administrative units, and public service units at district, ward, and commune levels. Also at the meeting, the City People's Committee agreed with the proposal of the Department of Agriculture and Environment on supporting fishing boat owners with funding to equip machinery and equipment for product preservation and serving aquatic exploitation according to Resolution No. 255/2019/NQ-HDND, phase 1, 2025.
The City People's Committee also approved the starting price for auctioning land use rights for a number of land plots in the area, creating a basis for transparent and effective auctions, optimizing land resources to serve socio-economic development.
In the cultural field, the city plans to organize the Exhibition: "Da Nang - 50 years of development and integration", and at the same time, supplement funds for activities to celebrate major holidays and important historical events in 2025. Relevant departments and branches are assigned to complete the organization plan to ensure scale and significance, creating a strong impression on the city's development path.
At the meeting, the Department of Home Affairs presented the contents related to policies for cadres who are not re-elected, re-appointed, or retired according to their wishes, and the policies in the process of restructuring the apparatus in 2025. The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that units coordinate closely, ensure proper implementation of regulations, and create consensus and unity among cadres and civil servants.
