Da Nang is gradually affirming its position as a strategic destination, attracting international investors in the semiconductor and AI industries. By the end of 2024, many large semiconductor corporations such as Synopsys, Marvell, Renesas will be present in Da Nang, while Nvidia, Intel, Qualcomm, Mediatek... are researching investment and cooperation in human resource training.

Thanks to this wave, Da Nang is expected to become a high-tech center, attracting large corporations as well as leading experts.

At the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors - AISC 2025 held last March, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, affirmed the city's commitment to building resources, ready to turn Da Nang into a leading technology center in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Mr. Son believes that in the coming time, the demand for recruiting AI personnel in Da Nang will increase by 20-30%/year, especially for positions such as: AI Engineer, Data Analyst, DevOps, Embedded System Expert and Digital Transformation Engineer. “The demand comes not only from software businesses, but also from industries such as: digital healthcare, tourism, manufacturing, finance - banking…”, Director of VNPT IT Da Nang emphasized.

AI MSE - the key to unlocking the future for IT human resources in Da Nang

To meet business needs, IT engineers as well as students in this field have no other choice but to quickly equip themselves and improve their AI knowledge to be ready to seize existing opportunities.

In Da Nang, the Master of Software Engineering with Artificial Intelligence (AI MSE) program of FSB Institute of Management & Technology (FPT Corporation) is one of the few prestigious AI-intensive programs that meet this need.

The training program includes more than 50% of the time on AI and data analysis. Including fundamental subjects of the AI field such as: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Data Mining, AI in production DevOps, DataOps, MLOps,...
