At the end of March 4, SJC gold bars were simultaneously increased by SJC, PNJ, and DOJI companies to 90.1 million VND/tael for buying and 92.1 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of half a million VND/tael compared to the morning.

Compared to the end of yesterday, the gold price increased by 1.1 million VND/tael and increased by nearly 2 million VND/tael from the end of the week until now. This is a very strong increase in the gold price after 1 week of adjustment.

Not only gold bars, the price of gold rings and other types of jewelry also increased. SJC Company traded gold rings at 90.1 million VND/tael for buying and 92 million VND/tael for selling - an increase of 500,000 VND. The price of gold rings increased by a million VND/tael in just 1 day.

PNJ Company listed 99.99 plain gold rings at 91.3 million VND/tael for buying and 92.5 million VND/tael for selling.

The price of gold rings is quite surprising because previously, the price of SJC gold bars was often higher than that of gold rings. Domestic gold prices increased sharply when world prices recovered strongly, surpassing the 2,900 USD/ounce mark. At around 4:30 p.m., Vietnam time, today's gold price was traded at 2,918 USD/ounce, up more than 30 USD/ounce compared to the previous session.

In just one session, the price of gold almost increased vertically when the USD index continuously decreased, to around 106.1 points, down 1.3% compared to the previous session. The price of gold is returning to its highest level in the past week, when the demand for gold as a safe haven increased. The conflict in Ukraine and the US tariff policy towards partners including Canada, Mexico and China, which took effect from today, have pushed the price of gold up strongly.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 90.6 million VND/tael.
