At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), DOJI Group, the price of gold bars is listed at VND89 million/tael (buy) and VND91 million/tael (sell). The price of gold this afternoon increased by VND500,000/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.
DOJI system listed SJC gold at buying price of 89 million VND/tael and selling price of 91 million VND/tael. This price increased by 500,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 90.4 million VND/tael and the selling price is 91 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to yesterday's session, the gold price has not changed in both buying and selling directions.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of SJC gold at 89.3 million VND/tael (buy) and 91 million VND/tael (sell). This price increased by 500 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday.

World gold price today March 4, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 2,891.54 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 1.19% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,752 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 89.7 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 1.3 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices rose more than 1% on Monday after falling to a three-week low in the previous session, buoyed by a weaker dollar and safe-haven buying on concerns about U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff policies.
Spot gold rose 1.1% to $2,891.29 an ounce as of 11:54 a.m. ET (1654 GMT). U.S. gold futures rose 1.9% to $2,902.30.
“I think we’re ultimately in a very bullish market and gold could go much higher than $3,000… with tariffs and the possibility of retaliation, I still think central banks will step in and buy,” said Daniel Pavilonis, senior market strategist at RJO Futures.
The dollar index (.DXY) fell more than 1%, moving away from a more than two-week high hit in the previous session, reflecting weakness that makes dollar-priced gold cheaper for buyers holding other currencies.
Trump is expected to decide on Monday what tariffs he will impose on imports from Canada and Mexico, effective Tuesday morning. He had vowed to impose a 25% tariff on imports from the two countries, but that order has been suspended for a month and is set to expire on Tuesday.
Last week, Trump threatened China with an additional 10% tariff, which took effect on Tuesday, bringing the total tariff to 20%.
Investors' attention is also turning to the ADP jobs report due out on Wednesday and the U.S. nonfarm payrolls report due out on Friday for further clues on the Federal Reserve's monetary policy.
Expectations around the Fed, which has kept interest rates on hold since December, were uncertain ahead of the data release.
Although widely seen as a hedge against geopolitical and economic uncertainty, non-yielding gold becomes less attractive to investors as interest rates rise.
Spot silver rose 1.9% to $31.75 an ounce, platinum rose 0.8% to $954.60 and palladium rose 3.1% to $947.75.
“We see silver prices potentially rising further as gold prices rise and global industrial output signals a modest recovery,” UBS analysts said in a note.
