Mr. Vu Manh Cuong, Director of Hanoi Tax Department, has just been appointed to the position of Deputy Director General of the General Department of Taxation (Ministry of Finance).
This morning (October 21), the Ministry of Finance held a conference to announce the decision of the Minister of Finance on the temporary appointment of Mr. Vu Manh Cuong (born in 1976), Director of the Hanoi Tax Department, to hold the position of Deputy General Director of the General Department of Taxation.
Deputy Minister of Finance Cao Anh Tuan said that Mr. Vu Manh Cuong has a master's degree in Business Administration from Hanoi University of Science and Technology; a bachelor's degree in Economics from Hanoi University of Accounting and Finance; and a bachelor's degree in English from Hanoi Open University.
Mr. Vu Manh Cuong has 25 years of experience in the financial industry, having held many positions and leadership positions.
Specifically, Mr. Cuong has 7 years of management experience as deputy and head at the Inspection and Examination Department (General Department of Taxation). In 2023, Mr. Cuong was appointed as Director of the Hanoi Tax Department.
The leaders of the Ministry of Finance requested the entire tax sector to focus all resources, resolutely and synchronously deploy solutions to manage tax collection, recover tax debts, prevent budget losses, and strive to complete the state budget collection task in 2024 assigned by the National Assembly.
