Canada has had a fireworks team participating in DIFF (formerly known as DIFC) since its first year in 2008, and also participated in DIFC 2012. Canada's "Aurora" performance this time used trendy electronic music combined with beautiful lights and colors.

Set to the vibrant music of 14 of the best electronic music, the fireworks effects create streaks of light depicting natural phenomena that are almost surreal in beauty.
The special effects of the performance are inspired by the romanticism of the faraway land of maple leaves from the Arctic region. The performance is inspired by the life of the Arctic people, to the audience watching the fireworks to join in the rhythm of dancing and swaying to the music and the rhythm of the fireworks in the sky.

Mr. Alain Bouthillier, representative of the Canadian fireworks team shared: "After a very long time of people having to stay at home because of Covid-19, coming to Da Nang to meet each other helps the world no longer have boundaries. DIFF has brought us closer together, helping Canada and Vietnam get closer together. And what we try to do is celebrate the fact that the world no longer has distance."
Meanwhile, the French team brought a romantic fireworks display. France is also a successful team with a series of major awards at fireworks competitions around the world.
As for Da Nang City, the French team was also the champion of DIFC 2010, runner-up of DIFC 2012 but had no achievements in the last time they participated in 2018. Therefore, this time coming to DIFF 2023, the French team is full of determination with the performance "Colors of Hope", the content depicts the "dark" period of Covid-19, the harsh natural disasters have pushed people apart.
