On the afternoon of February 4, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that, implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security's leaders, the Traffic Police Department is focusing on directing local police to arrange forces and vehicles to patrol, control, and propagate to ensure traffic order and safety for people to travel safely and conveniently with the spirit of working "through the night, through Tet".

"In addition, we also promote the spirit of supporting people to return home to celebrate Tet happily. Traffic police forces in localities also set up many support points and gave gifts to people on national highways," said a representative of the Traffic Police Department.

At Ham Tan Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Binh Thuan Province), the Station coordinated with benefactors to set up a gift-giving point for people in difficult circumstances on their way home for Tet on National Highway 1A (section through Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province).

Here, the traffic police force has prepared 350 gifts including: banh chung, candy, drinks, cold towels and fruits to give to people. In particular, if there is a case of carrying children, the traffic police will give a lucky money envelope and teddy bear.

A representative of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Thuan Province Police said that this activity aims to create more material and spiritual conditions and encourage traffic participants to drive safely on their way home for Tet, contributing to ensuring traffic order and safety and building a beautiful, humane image of Binh Thuan people.

In Binh Dinh province, the Traffic Police Department of the province has also set up many support points for people returning home for Tet on national highways.

In addition to giving drinking water and cold towels to drivers, the authorities also supported people with gas. Although the gifts were small, they also contributed to promoting traffic safety for drivers and keeping alert on the journey home.

In Son La province, in addition to giving drinking water, the Traffic Police Department, Son La Provincial Police also gave people on their way home standard helmets to ensure safety.

According to a representative of the Traffic Police Department, in the coming days, people's travel needs will increase, creating great pressure on ensuring traffic safety and order. Traffic police forces in localities will continue to set up support points and give gifts to people returning home for Tet.
