Previously, on the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year, the district leaders, cadres, soldiers and people in the district solemnly held the flag-raising ceremony at the National Flagpole of Con Co Island, and offered incense and flowers at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs of Con Co Island. Along with that, there was also a cultural program to celebrate the Party and welcome Spring with many dance and song performances about spring, praising the glorious Party, the homeland and the innovative country. The practical activities organized on the outpost island of Con Co helped cadres, soldiers and people celebrate Tet happily, creating a competitive and exciting atmosphere right from the first days of the new year.
