According to the report, the reporter received a recording of a meeting at Chuong Duong Primary School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

In the recording, there is a woman who continuously screams and yells. This woman loudly claims that she is not wrong, and at the same time challenges the others.

“The fence falls and the ivy climbs, am I afraid of you people? Where is your morality to dare criticize me? I just kept quiet to listen to the teacher, I did nothing to have to report (the parent's complaint). Every year, the parents report to me, but after reporting to me, they have to apologize to me. If you know what happened, you should report it” - the woman shouted loudly.

This person also said: “Being a homeroom teacher is like being a daughter-in-law to hundreds of people. When they love me, they say one thing, when they don’t love me, they say another, everyone is like that. I am straightforward, so people don’t like me. Only understanding, educated parents like me. I only hang out with those parents...”.

Without stopping, the woman continued to say: "In this Cau Kho ward, there are all kinds of people, people with little education, who talk in a different way, say one thing on the phone in the morning and another in the afternoon, they change their faces like rice paper...".

In a recent press conference, teacher Truong Phuong Hanh (homeroom teacher of class 4/3 who is causing a stir in public opinion by asking parents to buy laptops) admitted that the above recording was her speaking during a meeting with the school's board of directors and the school's inter-departmental committee. "When many teachers stood up to criticize me, I was very upset because I had too much work to do these past few days," said Ms. Hanh.

Answering the question of why, as a teacher, she used words like "street corners", "talking outside the window"... to talk about parents, Ms. Hanh said that the reason was because the president of the parents' association of class 4/3 had previously called to promise to support her in the meeting, but during the meeting, the parents' statement made the opposite statement, making her upset.

“This woman also mobilized and incited parents to sue me. They turned their backs on me in a way I could not have imagined,” Ms. Hanh explained.

From the perspective of a teacher, Mr. Vo Cao Long, Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 1, said that it is not appropriate for a teacher to make such a statement, but it is necessary to consider many aspects and many issues.

Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, homeroom teacher of class 4/3, head of grade 4, Chuong Duong Primary School, was petitioned by more than 20 parents of class 4/3 to the principal to change her homeroom teacher. The reason was that she asked parents to support buying laptops, when some disagreed, she "sulked" and said she did not prepare review outlines for students. The parents' petition also stated that Ms. Hanh also sold food in class to students...

Sharing with VietNamNet yesterday afternoon (September 30), the female teacher said that she asked parents for money to buy laptops because she thought "that is socializing education". The parents reported her to the principal because she did not accept the money to buy the laptops, if she had accepted, everything would not have happened.

Regarding selling sausages and instant noodles to students, according to Ms. Hanh's explanation, her house is far away so there are times when she comes to school without breakfast. Therefore, she always has a few packs of noodles in stock to cook at school. Seeing this, students also "ask" her to cook for them. 1 box of noodles and 1 sausage is 20,000 VND. Students who have money can pay, those who don't have money can leave.

This teacher has been suspended from work for 15 days by Chuong Duong Primary School. The suspension period is from September 30.
