MC Quynh Hoa, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, led a group of Ho Chi Minh City volunteer artists to visit musician Lu Nhat Vu.

Singer Quoc Dai and Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu were also present at the funeral home to bid farewell to the veteran musician and offer condolences to his family. Director Thanh Hiep shared: "Farewell, Uncle Lu Nhat Vu. I still remember the meals in the old apartment building that my aunt and uncle personally prepared, especially the braised snakehead fish that he cooked. His passing left a great void in the hearts of his fans. I will always miss him."

Musician Lu Nhat Vu passed away on the morning of March 29 after many months of treatment at People's Hospital 115. Before passing away, musician Lu Nhat Vu spent many months of treatment in the anti-poison resuscitation room of People's Hospital 115.

Musician Lu Nhat Vu's real name is Le Van Gat, born in 1936 in Binh Duong. He graduated from the Composition Department of the Vietnam Music School (now the Hanoi Conservatory of Music) in 1962, then worked in a number of units. The place he worked the longest and until his retirement was the Institute of Music Research. He was a former member of the Secretariat of the Vietnam Musicians' Association, term III.

He composed many songs that are loved by the audience such as Afternoon on the Meo village, The goods I bring to the trenches, By the statue of Uncle Ho, Rest assured, Mom, The sound of the gong overcoming the waterfall, Hon Khoai, Song of the Southern Land...
