These are 37 excellent candidates who passed the national team selection round to compete in the 2025 International and Regional Olympics, which took place on March 25, 26, and 27 with 187 candidates from provinces and cities across the country, with 5 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Informatics.
The exam results are as follows: Mathematics: 6 candidates were selected to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO); Physics: 8 candidates were selected to participate in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO); Chemistry: 4 candidates were selected to participate in the International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO); Biology: 4 candidates were selected to participate in the International Biology Olympiad (IBIO); Informatics: 15 candidates were selected to participate in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO).
The national team selection exam for international and regional Olympic competitions is held to discover and nurture young talents, representing Vietnam in international competitions. The achievements of the candidates not only affirm the quality of Vietnam's leading education but also create motivation for the movement of studying and scientific research among students nationwide.
The Ministry of Education and Training will continue to coordinate with relevant units to organize intensive review and training activities to help students best prepare for upcoming international and regional Olympic competitions.
