Majoring in literature at the Gifted High School (Ho Chi Minh City National University), passing the A block with the "highest standard score" in computer science at the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University), graduating second in the English Pedagogy department at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and having an IELTS score of 8.5/9... are the shocking information of Ms. Nhu Quynh. "Although I am good at social subjects, I also value logic very much. I think the secret to being able to study effectively is the ability to self-study, self-think, and summarize the main ideas instead of having to remember each word. Graduating from university with excellent grades, Nhu Quynh received many desirable job opportunities. You chose to invest in an educational start-up because you felt the corporate culture was a good fit, partly because the company was founded by former students of the Gifted High School. While teaching and studying for a master's degree at a British university, Nhu Quynh still did well in both jobs. She quickly became the academic director of the entire system and graduated with a master's degree in education with honors from Nottingham University. While her career was rapidly advancing, at the age of 24, Nhu Quynh surprised many people when she announced her marriage to a British man. At first, this relationship received hesitation from both families due to the great distance, concerns about cultural differences, etc. Nhu Quynh and her boyfriend were determined and tried hard to convince their parents to let them live together. "Slow and steady wins the race", the two families gradually felt the connection between the young couple and loved them like their own children. When Như Quỳnh had her first child, she and her husband were almost completely self-sufficient because both sets of grandparents were old and it was not convenient to travel far, and at that time, COVID-19 was still raging... With messy hair from taking care of her child and working as a senior manager, she admitted that she was very lucky because her husband always supported her wholeheartedly. When her first daughter was two years old, Như Quỳnh discovered that she was pregnant with her second child. It is worth mentioning that at that time, she also applied and was accepted into a doctoral program at a major university in the foggy country...

Women can do "miracles"
The joy of continuing her studies did not last long. Nhu Quynh tossed and turned many nights, staring blankly at the computer screen while typing her application for admission... because of the worry that she would not be able to take care of two young children, work and study at the same time. "If you are determined and passionate, I will always believe in and support you" - that sentence from her husband made her emotional and more confident. Currently, she is both a graduate student majoring in languages and continues to work as an academic director and a "dairy mother" for two children, nearly 1 year old and 4 years old. "My doctoral thesis focuses on applying problem-solving thinking in mathematics to learning English, specifically reading skills. Reading comprehension in English is essentially very similar to solving a math problem. Both rely on processing and linking collected pieces of information to solve problems and come to conclusions. The method of applying mathematical thinking to learning English has appeared in Vietnam for a long time under the name Linearthinking and has actually achieved initial results in improving IELTS scores in students. My research hopes to dig deeper and strengthen the theoretical basis of the Linearthinking method," said Nhu Quynh. There are times when Nhu Quynh is exhausted from having to do many things at the same time, she will take time to relax and rebalance. "Coincidentally, I really enjoy spending time with my children, so this is the "solution" I often turn to. When my husband and I have conflicts, we both take the initiative to apologize to each other. At the same time, because the working environment is open and understanding of employees, I rarely encounter great pressure. The company is also very progressive, always creating conditions for employees to become better versions of themselves, so they fully sponsor my tuition. I know I am very lucky, so I have to keep trying," Nhu Quynh confided.

Women can do miracles when they have determination and passion.
