Mr. Nguyen Nhu Trieu, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Electricity Trading Joint Stock Company, said that after VietNamNet Newspaper published an article reflecting on the fact that people in Ngoc Son, Vinh An, Chi Phuc villages (Ha Son commune, Ha Trung district) had to use weak electricity, boil water with wood stoves, did not dare to watch TV,... the company went to survey the situation. The content of the newspaper's reflection was correct.

“Previously, the company also received feedback from local residents and authorities regarding the weak electricity. We had a solution, but we did not expect the electricity to be so weak. When the report was received, we immediately came up with a solution to ensure electricity for the people,” Mr. Trieu informed.

According to Mr. Trieu, the company is managing and selling electricity to more than 70 communes in Thanh Hoa province, of which Ha Trung district has 12 communes. Every year, the company pays great attention to investing in grid infrastructure. In this district alone, last year the company invested in 12 transformer stations, 2 in Ha Son commune alone.

“We have ordered 2 stations and are working with local authorities to come up with a plan to survey the site. Once we have the site, we will erect poles and install 2 stations in Ngoc Son and Vinh An villages.

For Chi Phuc village (with 12 households) located deep in the mountains, we will replace the power line to ensure power supply. The total investment is expected to be more than 2 billion VND. If the site is available, the company will complete the transformer station this month," said Mr. Trieu.

As reported, people in Ngoc Son, Vinh An, and Chi Phuc villages (Ha Son commune) have had to live in misery for many years due to weak electricity. Since the beginning of 2024, weak and unstable electricity has damaged many electrical appliances in people's homes.

During peak hours at noon and in the afternoon, households cannot cook rice; must use firewood to boil water, and dare not watch TV.

Even with electricity, people still have to boil water with wood stoves, and dare not watch TV. Washing machines can only run at midnight, there are water heaters but still have to boil water for bathing with wood stoves; they have TVs but dare not watch them because they can easily break due to electrical short circuits... are the situations of many households in Ha Trung (Thanh Hoa). The electricity company also acknowledges this reality.
