This couple is Quynh Anh and Quoc Anh (both living in Ho Chi Minh City). The couple traveled to Phu Yen and found the scenery very beautiful. The couple made an appointment to participate in the marathon held here with a distance of 21km and took wedding photos before the race.
Wedding photo shoot coincided with the flag raising ceremony
On the morning of March 29, the Tien Phong Marathon organized a flag-raising ceremony rehearsal, so the couple decided to take their wedding photos there. They did not expect that the photo of the couple standing to salute the flag, with the letter S and the Vietnamese flag below, would quickly be shared widely by netizens because it was so beautiful.
Gia Thuan (the photographer of this photo series, living in Phu Yen) said that on the evening of March 28, he asked his relatives if anyone would take a motorbike to Mui Dien, because he was afraid that the bride and groom would be tired from walking up. However, during the rehearsal, no one was allowed to ride a motorbike up. As early as 2:30 a.m., the couple started putting on their makeup. At 4:30 a.m., they departed for Vung Ro, meeting the organizing committee's convoy on the way.

"At that time, we were very surprised because it was so crowded. Everyone was worried about whether we could take pictures of the sunrise as planned. The whole crew walked together and saw people forming an S-shape and the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagos below, so we came up with this idea," he said.
At 5:30 a.m., the crew walked from the foot of Mui Dien to the top of the cape to capture the sunrise and gradually walked down. Arriving at the flag-raising ceremony viewing point, Mr. Thuan quickly took a panoramic photo of the sacred flag-raising moment of the couple with all the soldiers, civilians and students at Bai Mon.
"When the music started, the whole crew shouted the slogan and saluted the flag together. Everyone felt happy and found it meaningful and sacred," he recalled.

Mr. Thuan's wife, Ms. Hoang Anh, who was also the makeup artist that day, immediately thought of a verse in the long poem "The Road of Aspiration" by poet Nguyen Khoa Diem:
"When two people hold hands
The country in us is harmonious and warm.
When the two of them held hands with everyone
"The country is big and round".
Love comes from running
Talking to Tuoi Tre Online , bride Quynh Anh (living in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) shared that thanks to jogging, the couple came together.
"We met while climbing Chua Chan Mountain (Dong Nai) three years ago. We didn't fall in love right away, but got to know each other, became friends, shared our interest in running, and gradually developed feelings for each other," she shared.

Although the two live about 16km apart, Quoc Anh lives in Binh Thanh District (HCMC), but jogging is a huge common point in their conversations. Both often choose Sala Park (Thu Duc City, HCMC) as the middle point, occasionally dating and jogging together.
Quynh Anh said that their schedules are different and they work far from each other, so they rarely run together. She takes advantage of the times when they run to chat and share interesting stories of the week with him. The rest of the time, they both run separately. Running is like a bridge to bring the two of them closer together.

"On the day of the wedding photo shoot, I wore clogs and a wedding dress to climb Mui Dien. Normally, there would be a motorbike taxi to take me up, but that day was the ceremony so no one was there to take me. Luckily, we were all runners so we had good physical strength. Sometimes when we went through difficult sections of the road, he carried me over the fence, and the crew and people around helped hold my dress and flowers. That is something I will always remember," she said.
She commented that her other half is calm, honest, ambitious, very indulgent, and can tolerate her bad habits without complaining. The secret to maintaining the couple's relationship is sharing, respecting, and giving in to each other.
The bride also invited the groom to conquer the 21km distance after the wedding photo shoot to mark their love and registered for the running BIB.
"We have never run a race together before, we have always run separately. This activity will help us bond.
However, we were so dedicated to the wedding photo shoot that we were a bit exhausted. We planned to think about this later. I think running for a long distance without good health is a bit dangerous. He also respects my decision," she said.
