Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair expected to create 12,600 business appointments

On September 4-6, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2025) took place at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

The fair is expected to attract more than 520 exhibitors and 50 Vietnamese localities to attend the exhibition and 240 high-end buyers from more than 30 countries and territories (up 10% compared to 2024); along with more than 28,000 visitors (up 12% compared to 2024); contributing to creating 12,600 business appointments (up 10% compared to 2024) B2B business appointments for direct exchange and contact between international and Vietnamese tourism businesses.

Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism shared: "ITE HCMC 2025 with the theme "Sustainable Tourism, Vivid Experience" is expected to be a model for the breakthrough and creativity of Vietnam's tourism industry in a period of great fluctuations in global economic sectors, including the tourism industry; is a bridge for tourism associations and domestic tourism businesses to unanimously improve competitiveness and create the attractiveness of Vietnam's tourism compared to other countries in the region as well as in the international tourism market".

In particular, during the ITE HCMC 2025 Fair, from September 3 to 6, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will host the 12th General Assembly of the Global Cities Tourism Promotion Organization in 2025.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism assessed that ITE HCMC 2025 affirms a professional brand in the tourism industry, originating from 6 countries downstream of the Mekong River, then spreading throughout the world. This year, there is also a combination of tourism and trade, adding a new element, hoping to create a big change.
