Tears of Love (author: Hoang Song Viet) is the directorial graduation play of artist Nha Thi on the evening of March 28 at Tran Huu Trang Opera House.

New look of Tears of Love

Playwright Hoang Song Viet said the script "Tears of Love" was first directed by Ca Le Hong for the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association in the early 2000s, with artists such as Kim Tu Long, Que Tran, Hoang Nhat, Tan Giao...

Then in 2007, director Hoa Ha remade it for the group Thap sang niem tin, with the participation of Khanh Tuan, Le Tu, Tu Suong, My Hang, Le Thanh Thao, Hoai Nam, Tam Tam, Dien Trung, Le Trung Thao...

Mr. Hoang Song Viet confided that this script was written more than 20 years ago, so he was afraid that there would be some things that were no longer suitable for the present. However, after watching the play, he was surprised because Nha Thi was quick-witted, updated with current events, and made reasonable changes.

He was impressed by the way Nha Thi portrayed Thang, which he thought was very good and interesting. He was a bad guy, even perverted, who only knew how to take advantage of gullible girls to get both love and money.

Nha Thi is currently an actress at Tran Huu Trang Opera House. She has won many gold medals in the Young Talent Competition, Tran Huu Trang Opera Stage Talent Competition, National Opera Festival, etc.

In 2020, Nha Thi was one of 12 outstanding individuals honored as Outstanding Young Citizens of Ho Chi Minh City. She is the wife of Golden Bell of Traditional Opera Nguyen Minh Truong.
