Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai visited and wished a happy New Year in Bunpimay, Lao People's Democratic Republic

On March 31, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai led a delegation of officials from Ca Mau province to visit and celebrate the traditional Bunpimay New Year of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Khammouane province.

Accompanying the delegation were Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Trung Viet and Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau City Party Committee Tran Hong Quan. Secretary and Governor of Kham Muon Province Van Xay Phong Sa Van received the delegation.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai respectfully thanked the leaders of Kham Muon province for organizing a very respectful, thoughtful and warm reception for the delegation of Ca Mau province officials.

Continuing the fine tradition of friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general, and Ca Mau and Kham Muon provinces in particular, Ca Mau province organized a delegation to visit and wish a happy New Year; at the same time, it was also an opportunity to meet and discuss issues related to the fields in which the two provinces have cooperated in the past time.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai wished the Party Committee, government and people of Kham Muon province a new year filled with good health, joy, peace and happiness; and wished the friendly and cooperative relationship between Laos and Vietnam, as well as between Ca Mau and Kham Muon provinces, to develop more and more sustainably.

Secretary and Governor of Kham Muon province Van Xay Phong Sa Van thanked Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai for his New Year wishes; and emphasized: This visit and New Year greetings further demonstrate the good feelings that Ca Mau province has for Kham Muon province. In recent times, localities and units of the two provinces have actively built a friendly and solidarity relationship in all fields, especially support in education and production, contributing to promoting local economic development.

Secretary and Governor of Kham Muon province Van Xay Phong Sa Van hopes that Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai will continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for localities and units of Ca Mau province to expand cooperative relations, exchange and learn experiences with localities and units of Kham Muon province; continue to promote the tradition of friendly and comprehensive cooperation, and support each other in the process of socio-economic development.

On this occasion, Ca Mau province supported 1 billion VND in scholarships for students of Kham Muon province.
