Preparing to inaugurate 2 key routes

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai inspected two key routes.

The project to renovate the coastal axis road DT.719B, Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section, was approved by the Provincial People's Committee with a length of 25.61km, divided into 2 sections, the roadbed is 28m wide (not including the 12m wide shoulder on each side according to the plan), the road surface is 16m wide, each side is 8m wide, the median strip is 11m, the reinforced shoulder width on each side is 0.5m. The structure is asphalt concrete on crushed stone aggregate foundation, lighting and green trees. The total investment is 1,274.317 billion VND, the investment capital is supported by the central budget and the provincial budget, the implementation period is until the end of 2025. The project started on November 25, 2020, the Provincial People's Committee allowed to extend the construction period to December 31, 2025. To date, the project has completed about 80% of the contract, of which the 17km section 1 connecting National Highway 1 - Ham My Commune to Tien Thanh Intersection (roundabout) has been completed. The 8.6km section 2 is still under construction.

The Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh route (from National Highway 1 to DT.719B intersecting with Tien Thanh roundabout) has a route length of about 7.7km, of which the roadbed width is 37m, the road surface width is 16m, the median strip is 9m, and the sidewalk on each side is 6m. The structure is asphalt concrete on crushed stone aggregate, 3 new bridges are built, drainage system, trees and traffic safety system are invested. The total investment is 419 billion VND, the project started on November 16, 2021 and has been completed so far.
