On the morning of August 31, the Party Committee of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City organized a walking program to contribute to the city's "For the Poor" fund.
The activity is part of the Brand Connection and Product Usage Festival of the Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, taking place from August 28-31 at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.
Attending the program were Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai; Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City Le Thi Hong Nga; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Pham Minh Tuan and about 3,000 people of all ages. Mr. Vo Van Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City - said that in order to promote the tradition of humanity and affection of the people of Ho Chi Minh City, to help the poor escape poverty, and not to leave anyone behind, the walking program took place with the hope that the Party Committee, leaders of agencies, units, each cadre, party member, worker, student in the bloc and the majority of the city's people would participate with a heart of mutual love and contribute to the "For the Poor" fund. "This affection will help poor and disadvantaged households have more conditions to stabilize their lives, and children will have more determination to go to school to continue their unfinished dreams," Mr. Yen emphasized and affirmed that all contributions will be recognized by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Block, publicly announced and transferred to the city's "For the Poor" fund. |
