On January 29, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the leader of the Economic Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that the unit had urgently arrested Ms. Pham Thi Hoa (Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Sen Tai Thu Joint Stock Company), Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (Ms. Hoa's daughter) and Nguyen Thi Lan Huong for the crime of Fraudulent appropriation of property.

According to authorities, the suspects knew that Sen Tai Thu Company had a huge outstanding debt and was unable to pay.

However, from 2018 to May 2023, the subjects took advantage of the reputation of the Sen Tai Thu healthcare brand, inflated charter capital, and reported the system's revenue and profits that were not true to reality to illegally mobilize capital.

The leader of PC03 Department of Hanoi Police said that initially, the investigation agency determined that about 100 capital mobilization contracts had been signed, with a total value of about 1,000 billion VND.

Authorities are clarifying the purpose of the above money used by the subjects, expanding the investigation, and assessing the role of some other related people.
