(NLDO) - Tran Tien Thinh and his father-in-law assaulted a motorcyclist because of a small conflict.

On January 13, Binh Thanh District Police (HCMC) issued an order to detain people, an order to arrest people in emergency cases and temporarily detained Tran Tien Thinh (33 years old, residing in Thu Duc City) and Thai Hoang Phuong (57 years old, Thinh's father-in-law) to investigate the acts of disturbing public order and intentionally causing injury.

According to the police, at 10:30 p.m. on January 11, due to traffic congestion, while traveling from Kinh Bridge to Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Ward 26, Mr. HTM (24 years old, living in Binh Thanh district) drove his motorbike into the opposite lane to move, leading to a conflict with Thinh and his father sitting in the car.
Phuong and Thinh used a metal stick to chase and beat Mr. M. Only when people stopped them did Thinh and Phuong get in the car and leave.
Binh Thanh District Police investigated, arrested and invited everyone to come in for questioning.
At the police station, Thinh and Phuong confessed to all of the above crimes and expressed remorse for their actions.
Since the beginning of 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Police have verified many cases of public disorder, intentional injury or property destruction caused by collisions and conflicts while traveling on the road or during daily activities, entertainment, etc.
