National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attends the 60th Anniversary of the Air Defense - Air Force Service

(Dan Tri) - On the morning of October 19, the Air Defense - Air Force Service held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its traditional day (October 22, 1963 - October 22, 2023). National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended, delivered a speech and presented congratulatory flowers.
On the morning of October 19 in Hanoi, the Air Defense - Air Force Service (Ministry of National Defense) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its traditional day (October 22, 1963 - October 22, 2023). Attending the ceremony were: Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue; Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang; former Politburo member, General Pham Van Tra; former Minister of National Defense, General Ngo Xuan Lich; former Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, former Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee: Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, Deputy Minister of National Defense. Also attending the ceremony were former leaders of the Ministry of National Defense; leaders and former leaders of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; leaders of a number of central and local ministries, branches and commanders of a number of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated, acknowledged and commended the feats and achievements that generations of officers and soldiers of the Air Defense - Air Force have achieved over the past 60 years.
At the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue presented flowers to congratulate the Air Defense - Air Force Service and presented gifts to the family of Colonel Dang Tinh - the first Political Commissar of the Air Defense - Air Force Service. On the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue also presented flowers and gifts to female representatives of the Air Defense - Air Force Service. Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien read the opening speech of the Ceremony and delivered the reply speech. Over the past 60 years, generations of officers and soldiers of the Air Defense - Air Force have achieved many glorious feats and outstanding achievements. During the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, the Air Defense - Air Force always affirmed its role as the core force on the air front, in the people's war to protect the Fatherland. Earlier, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue arrived early to inspect the honor guard. Accompanying him was Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force. Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang and Deputy Ministers of National Defense welcomed National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to attend the ceremony.
At the reception room, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue presented souvenirs to leaders of the Air Defense - Air Force Service. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and delegates offered incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House of the Air Defense - Air Force. The National Assembly Chairman personally wrote in the guestbook placed inside the memorial house. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Minister Phan Van Giang, along with all leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the Air Defense - Air Force, and invited delegates took souvenir photos in front of the main hall. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue took a souvenir photo with leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the Air Defense - Air Force.
