The technological "enlightenment" of Mr. Truong Gia Binh
Sharing at the FPT Techday Forum on the afternoon of October 24, Chairman Truong Gia Binh said that 2 years of Covid-19 pandemic have changed the thinking of this business.
“ It turns out that technology not only contributes to national prosperity but also saves people. Our chatbots have made millions of calls to see if sick people at home are in danger. If so, they connect to medical organizations to help them, ” said Mr. Binh.
With FPT and the District 7 government (HCMC) deploying a smart data operations center, District 7 then opened a pilot program, restoring the economy with budget revenue in October 2021 reaching 470 billion VND, equal to the entire third quarter of 2021.
According to the Chairman of FPT, through the above two stories, he was "enlightened" about how IT can impact human lives and livelihoods.
Sharing about the future, Mr. Truong Gia Binh hopes that one day all Vietnamese children will learn about artificial intelligence. “ Without understanding of AI, we may lose our jobs. Only those who understand AI can innovate and contribute to changing the world, ” said the Chairman of FPT.
According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Vietnam can be behind and ahead in digital transformation because no other country can create more than 100 million digital IDs for people nationwide in such a short time as Vietnam. Such rapid digital transformation speed will bring new opportunities to Vietnam.
In the digital transformation era, Vietnamese people may not need to bring documents when working with authorities at all levels, Vietnamese children are given homework by AI, and they will also take exams online.
Many Vietnamese businesses have data in hand but have not yet automated their production processes. FPT's automation solutions will be able to help them solve this problem.
Through the above stories, FPT Chairman wants to convey the message: " We have the aspiration to bring Vietnam to the world, to put our name on the world digital map ."
Every business of the future must be a technology business.
This is the opinion of Mr. Le Hong Viet, General Director of FPT Smart Cloud. According to Mr. Viet, businesses will gradually become technology companies because the population structure is changing. The new generation of users are those born in the smartphone era, preferring texting to talking. They often use 24/7 services and want immediate answers whenever they need to ask a business on social networks.
In fact, traditional customer care via email, phone or live chat as before will not be able to solve that problem. This is the reason why businesses need the support of artificial intelligence in customer care.
Automation is doing what humans and machines can do together. AI can now support 80% of customer service. We can also shift the customer service model to the sales department, letting AI help recommend new items and increase order conversion rates.
“ Nowadays, employees are not only human but also include machines. We need to create an environment where humans and machines work in harmony and smoothly, ” Mr. Le Hong Viet shared.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - CIO of Techcombank, in the current era, businesses are required to know how to apply technology. Thanks to the application of new technologies, Techcombank has achieved impressive numbers in terms of customer numbers. However, user experience is still guaranteed by reducing transaction time, simplifying payment processes such as creating personal QR Codes for businesses. Thanks to technology, approval processes to make decisions are also optimized in just 1-2 minutes.
Sharing about the application of technology in the wood production industry, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Processing Association said: " IT helps us manage data, internal and external information systems smoothly, grasp customer information quickly and manage processes closely ."
Talking about the future of integrating IT into furniture products, according to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Processing Association, technology can create a soul and story for the product. In the world, there are table and chair products with chips inside. That can also be a new suggestion for the Vietnamese wood handicraft industry.
