In 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) plans to increase its enrollment by 1,300, opening an Artificial Intelligence major and a Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.
With the AI industry, the school is built into two main areas: Machine Learning and Applied Artificial Intelligence, based on advanced training programs from prestigious training institutions such as Stanford University and Carnegie Mellon in the US.

Students are equipped with in-depth, modern knowledge such as GenAI, large language models, and AI application development platforms. In addition to the school's lecturers, they will be led by visiting experts from major universities such as Stanford, MIT (USA), NUS, NTU (Singapore), KAIST (Korea) and many large domestic and foreign technology companies.
With the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, students will have basic knowledge of humanities, economics , business administration, commerce and digital technology, along with in-depth knowledge of the industry and the ability to work in a digital, multicultural environment.
The Academy representative said that opening these two majors is to meet the increasing demand for human resources in the labor market, contributing to promoting technology development in Vietnam.
Regarding the admission method, PTIT plans to keep it stable as last year, including direct admission, combined admission, based on the results of the capacity assessment exam of two national universities and the thinking assessment of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and considering the high school graduation exam scores.
Last year, the admission score based on graduation exam scores was from 18 to 26.4, the highest being in Information Technology.
