Recently, an 82-year-old woman in Binh Duong was bitten to death by a Pitbull. Many experts and readers have suggested banning the breeding of ferocious dogs, as there have been many cases of dogs biting people to death in the past.
At the press conference on May 21 chaired by Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan, the ministry's leaders also received questions about the management and ban on raising wild cats in our country.

Sharing about this issue, Mr. Duong Tat Thang - Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry, said that the Law on Animal Husbandry and the Law on Veterinary Medicine have very strict management regulations.
All dog and cat breeding in the locality is managed from the grassroots level. If you raise a dog in the locality, you must declare it, vaccinate it, and muzzle it when going out. However, in the process of raising and managing it in practice, some problems still arise.
Under the direction of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Animal Husbandry is currently developing another circular on animal management, including dogs and cats, to be issued around the end of 2023 or early 2024.
