Chieng Sinh joins hands to build new countryside

Mr. Lo Van Panh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chieng Sinh commune, shared: Focusing on implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the commune has promoted propaganda to raise awareness and create consensus among the people in joining hands to build new rural areas in the area. Since the beginning of the year, the commune has integrated propaganda of this content into 24 conferences in residential areas for more than 2,560 participants; directed organizations and unions to mobilize union members, members and people to actively respond to and participate in new rural construction activities; increased propaganda on loudspeakers in villages, on social networks zalo, facebook... Thanks to that, people have gradually understood the meaning and great benefits of building new rural areas and actively participated in implementation. Not only enthusiastically participating in production development to increase income, sustainably reduce poverty, people of Chieng Sinh commune have proactively donated land, contributed funds and working days to build new rural areas. From 2022 to now, the commune has mobilized people to donate more than 1,300m2 ^of land, contributed more than 400 million VND, nearly 1,000 working days and mobilized businesses and philanthropists to support the purchase of construction materials to build concrete roads within the village; mobilized people of Dun village to contribute 35 million VND and 30 working days to build a lighting system in the village with a length of 1.6km; mobilized people of Che Phai 1 village to contribute nearly 10 million VND and 25 working days to build a solar lighting system...

Joining hands to support households in especially difficult circumstances, eliminating temporary houses for poor households, the commune mobilizes cadres and people to actively participate in contributing and supporting the "For the Poor" Fund; coordinate with units to organize gift giving to policy families and poor households in the area; mobilize people to help poor households build solidarity houses. Recently, the commune has completed and handed over 5 houses under the "Warm houses of love and social security" program, phase 1, 2023. Currently, the commune is focusing on supporting the construction of 54 houses under the Project to mobilize support for building solidarity houses for poor households in the province and 9 houses from the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction. Being supported to build houses will help poor households stabilize their lives to gradually escape poverty. Promoting the construction of cultural life in residential areas, the commune mobilizes people to preserve and promote the nation's fine traditional cultural values, eliminate bad customs, practice civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals, and proactively build "cultural families" and "cultural villages". Currently, the whole commune has 481 households achieving the title of cultural family (accounting for 43.5%).

Notably, joining hands to protect the environment, keep the village green and clean, every month people in the villages participate in cleaning the environment, collecting waste, clearing sewers, planting trees; people have proactively dug holes to treat waste, built hygienic toilets, and not kept livestock under the floor. In the villages, the commune's Fatherland Front has deployed and built a number of effective models such as: 5 no model in Che Phai 1 village; "Bright - green - clean - beautiful residential area" model associated with self-managed roads in the villages: Ta Con, Hieu, Dun, Che Phai 1; "Residential area protecting the environment and responding to climate change" model in Kep village; "Self-managed security team" model in Che Phai 2 and Ly Xom villages... On the other hand, the commune mobilizes people to strictly implement the provisions of the law, not to commit social evils; Establish conciliation teams in villages to proactively resolve conflicts and disputes among the people. Promote the role of the people as masters, the commune well implements the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, actively fights against corruption and waste; fights against elements that take advantage of democracy, disrupt social order, and divide the great national unity bloc.

Joining hands to implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", Chieng Sinh commune has achieved many encouraging results. Currently, the commune has achieved 15/19 criteria for building new rural areas, the poverty rate has decreased to 40.2%, the average income has reached more than 24 million VND/person/year. The material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved, the people are willing to participate in contributing their efforts and joining hands with the Party Committee and the commune government to realize the goal of building new rural areas in the area.
