Lesson 1: Unanimously determined to learn and follow Uncle Ho

With the viewpoint that promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is an important task, having a positive influence and strong impact on all aspects of social life. The Party Committee and the government of Nam Po district have proactively included the study and following of Uncle Ho in the plans and tasks of agencies and units; strengthened propaganda and mobilization work for the people; associated with local emulation movements... Notably, the implementation process has always received consensus, response and participation from all cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.

Focus on dissemination and propaganda

Realizing that studying and following Uncle Ho is a regular and continuous task, the Standing Committee of Nam Po District Party Committee has proactively issued a study plan, thoroughly grasped the topics of the whole course and each year; organized study conferences in direct and online forms to the communes. 100% of branches and affiliated Party Committees have completed the implementation of the content of the topic of studying and following Uncle Ho with the rate of cadres and party members participating in the study reaching 98%; the rate of union members, association members, and the masses receiving propaganda reached 82%. Through research and study, cadres, party members, union members, and association members have a clearer understanding of the purpose, meaning, and importance of studying and following Uncle Ho, and have a clearer view of their own responsibilities in cultivating and training political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, especially in renewing the working style of "saying goes hand in hand with doing", promoting the spirit of "serving the people".

Mr. Le Khanh Hoa, Secretary of Nam Po District Party Committee shared: In order to focus on effectively implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, the District Party Committee has issued Resolution No. 08-NQ/HU on innovation and improving the quality of political and ideological education; promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; improving the quality and effectiveness of propaganda, dissemination, dissemination and construction, concretization of the Party's guidelines, resolutions and directives, and the State's legal policies in the district, for the period 2020 - 2025. At the same time, directing and guiding Party organizations, agencies and units in the area to seriously incorporate the content of studying and following Uncle Ho into Party cell activities and periodic activities of agencies and units; deploy to all cadres and party members to contact, build and register personal plans to follow Uncle Ho in accordance with their functions and tasks, ensuring clarity and closeness to each subject. The content of the collective's follow-up is discussed, agreed upon, and has a specific plan of action; the content of the individual's follow-up is reported to the party cell for participation in contributing opinions; using training and striving as a basis for reviewing, evaluating, and classifying cadres and party members at the end of the year. Therefore, 100% of party organizations and cadres and party members have chosen to register at least one annual follow-up, focusing on limited and outstanding issues that need to be overcome or key, urgent, and prominent issues at the unit or locality to contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of work.

Associated with the implementation of local political tasks

Based on the actual conditions of a border commune with many difficulties, the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been associated with the implementation of specific tasks of the locality by the Party Committee of Si Pa Phin commune. Due to the slow economic development, low living standards and high poverty rate, the commune has actively mobilized people to change the structure of crops and livestock to increase productivity; build and replicate effective livestock models, such as raising buffaloes, cows, goats, fattening pigs, breeding pigs, etc. Recently, the commune has mobilized some households in Vang Ho and Tan Lap villages to deploy a model of growing green squash and bring high economic efficiency, helping people increase their income. The commune is currently implementing a passion fruit growing model in 5 villages: Vang Ho, Long Dao, San Bay, Che Nhu, Pu Dau with a total planting area of over 39 hectares, with the participation of nearly 50 households... The commune's poverty reduction results in the past year have changed significantly, the poverty rate decreased by 7.2% compared to 2021, currently the whole commune has 445 poor households.

Mr. Vang A Ky, Secretary of the Party Committee of Si Pa Phin commune, said: Due to the characteristics of a highland border commune, the construction of new rural areas has encountered many obstacles and difficulties. Faced with the above reality, promoting the spirit of great national solidarity, the commune has mobilized people to donate land, join hands to contribute working days to build roads, cultural houses, communal stadiums; participate in cleaning and protecting the environment... Recently, local people have participated in repairing 3 landslide roads in Phi Linh, Nam Chim 1, Long Dao villages; contributed working days to open the Vang Ho - Long Dao road; mobilized cadres and people to contribute to the construction of a project to light up the countryside road in Nam Chim 1 village with 30 solar panels, nearly 1km long; mobilized people to donate thousands of square meters of land to build a communal stadium... Thanks to that, the new rural construction project in Si Pa Phin has been effectively implemented, and up to now the commune has achieved 15/19 criteria.

To promote learning and following Uncle Ho, the Party Committees and authorities of Nam Po district have included the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW in the programs and plans for annual tasks of the locality, agencies and units. In the work of Party building, the district is determined to implement Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII), Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW (term XIII) in conjunction with learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle with specific solutions, contributing to preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party. Thereby, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members and building an increasingly strong political system at the grassroots level. In the implementation of political tasks, the district focuses on directing the timely resolution of many urgent and prominent issues of concern to the people and public opinion such as: Forest management and protection; land disputes, site clearance, policy implementation... At the same time, directing agencies, units and localities to do a good job of receiving people, resolving complaints, denunciations and recommendations of citizens, limiting the situation of petitions going beyond the level, prolonging, not allowing the formation of "hot spots", contributing to political stability and social order and safety. In particular, studying and following Uncle Ho is also associated with patriotic emulation movements in all areas of social life such as: "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", the movement to build cultural life, civilized urban areas, protect national security... Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, building the great national unity bloc, ensuring security and order in the area.
