Accordingly, the vaccination rate for children from 6 months to under 9 months old is 95.1%; children from 1 to 5 years old is 96.4%; children from 6 to 10 years old is 97.4%.

Currently, the health sector of Dak Lak province is continuing to provide vaccinations, catch-up vaccinations, and supplementary vaccinations to increase vaccination rates and prevent epidemics more effectively.

Thus, up to now, 15 districts, towns and cities in the province have completed the measles vaccination campaign with vaccination rates reaching over 96%. The whole province has not had any cases of severe reactions after vaccination.

In order for the measles vaccination campaign to take place safely, effectively and on schedule, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee continuously issued documents requesting the Department of Health and related sectors and localities in the province to speed up the progress of the measles vaccination campaign.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health directed units to effectively investigate and screen subjects in need of vaccination; inspect and supervise vaccine preparation and preservation; monitor and handle post-vaccination reactions; strengthen communication work, mobilize mass organizations to "go to every alley, knock on every door, and screen each subject" to encourage people to fully vaccinate their children.

The measles vaccination campaign in Dak Lak was deployed to schools.

Recently, measles has broken out, many of whom have not been fully vaccinated. In Dak Lak province, as of March 31, the whole province recorded over 1,000 cases of rash fever, of which 228 cases tested positive for measles.

Measles is a disease that is mainly transmitted through the respiratory tract, has a very high rate of infection, and mainly affects children, so the work of preventing and controlling measles epidemics faces many difficulties, especially early detection, isolation, and treatment of the disease.

Currently, there is no specific treatment for measles, vaccination is an effective measure to prevent the disease.
