On February 18, the National Assembly passed a Resolution on the organization of National Assembly agencies and a Resolution of the National Assembly on the number of members of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly (amended) and personnel restructuring.

The bodies of the National Assembly include: Council of Nationalities; Committee on Law and Justice; Committee on Economy and Finance; Committee on Culture and Society; Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs; Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Committee on People's Aspirations and Supervision; Committee on Delegation Work; Office of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly elected Mr. Vu Hong Thanh as Vice Chairman of the National Assembly. The National Assembly elected Mr. Le Minh Hoan as member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly elected Mr. Phan Van Mai as a member of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly; elected the Chairmen of the Committees of the 15th National Assembly, including: Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee for Mr. Hoang Thanh Tung, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee for Mr. Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee for Mr. Le Tan Toi, Chairman of the Culture and Social Committee for Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh, Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee for Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee for Mr. Duong Thanh Binh.

After completing the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for the 2021 - 2026 term, including: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; 6 Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly including Mr./Ms. Nguyen Duc Hai, Nguyen Khac Dinh, Tran Quang Phuong, Nguyen Thi Thanh, Vu Hong Thanh and Le Minh Hoan.

The members include: Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha; Chairman of the Ethnic Council Y Thanh Ha Nie K'dam; General Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung; Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee Hoang Thanh Tung; Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee Phan Van Mai; Chairman of the Cultural and Social Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh; Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai; Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee Duong Thanh Binh; Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee Le Tan Toi; Chairman of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee Le Quang Huy; Permanent Deputy Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee Le Thi Nga; Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee Le Quang Manh.

Thus, among the 19 members of the newly reorganized National Assembly Standing Committee, there are two new faces: Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan and Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee Phan Van Mai.

The Foreign Affairs Committee ended its activities and transferred its tasks to the National Defense and Security Committee, the National Assembly Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The National Defense and Security Committee changed its name to the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee. The Law Committee and the Judicial Committee merged into the Law and Judicial Committee; the Economic Committee and the Finance and Budget Committee merged into the Economic and Finance Committee; the Social Committee and the Culture and Education Committee merged into the Culture and Social Committee.

The two agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee, the People's Aspirations Committee and the Delegation Affairs Committee, were upgraded to the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee of the National Assembly and the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly. The National Council and the National Assembly Committees include the Chairman/Chairman, Vice Chairman/Vice Chairmen and members.

The National Assembly approved the appointment of four ministers: Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh, Minister of Agriculture and Environment Do Duc Duy, and Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Dao Ngoc Dung.
