Phu Yen Newspaper thanks collaborators and readers in 2024

(CLO) On March 29, at the Pytopia Conference Center (Tuy Hoa City), Phu Yen Newspaper solemnly held the 2024 Collaborators - Readers Conference. The event aimed to honor the important contributions of the team of collaborators and readers, and at the same time share the achievements and plans of the newspaper in the coming time.


Speaking at the opening of the conference, journalist Nguyen Khanh Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper, emphasized that 2024 is a year of many important events for the country and Phu Yen province. Phu Yen Newspaper always follows the news, organizes many propaganda campaigns, and contributes to improving the quality of articles.

He also expressed his deep gratitude for the leadership and direction of leaders at all levels, the close coordination of departments and organizations, and the enthusiastic support of collaborators and readers.

Reporting on the summary of the activities of Collaborators - Readers in 2024, journalist Pham Thi Minh Nguyet, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, said that Phu Yen Newspaper has successfully completed the propaganda work, providing accurate and timely information on political, cultural, socio-economic, security - defense events in the province, domestically and internationally.

Along with improving the quality of content, Phu Yen Newspaper has also focused on digital transformation of journalism. Phu Yen Online is currently completing its technical infrastructure and testing a new interface. The Editorial Board has established a Digital Transformation Working Group, invested in digital journalism products, and deployed software to support reporters and editors in creating graphics, infographics, podcasts and video clips.

In addition to professional work, Phu Yen Newspaper also actively participates in community activities, such as building and handing over 6 Charity houses to the poor, giving scholarships and bicycles to poor students who overcome difficulties, and many other volunteer activities.

In 2024, Phu Yen Newspaper was honored to be classified as having completed its tasks excellently and received 2 certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee. Journalist Pham Thi Minh Nguyet affirmed that the achievements of Phu Yen Newspaper had important contributions from collaborators, reporters and readers. These are the people who have accompanied and contributed to the success of the newspaper.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Tran Thanh Hung acknowledged and praised the outstanding results achieved by Phu Yen Newspaper in the past year. He also emphasized that in the digital age, the press needs to be a pioneer in applying information technology to keep up with the development trends of modern journalism.

Referring to the difficulties that press agencies are facing in ensuring advertising revenue, Mr. Tran Thanh Hung said that the Government has implemented communication policies, and at the same time suggested that Phu Yen Newspaper strengthen coordination with agencies and units to strongly implement policy communication work, in order to create more revenue for the press and ensure activities.

The 2024 Contributors - Readers Conference of Phu Yen Newspaper is an opportunity for contributors and readers to look back on the past journey, and at the same time provide valuable contributions and opinions for the newspaper to develop more strongly in the future.
