The program "Vietnamese Tea - Heritage and Future" is a journey to discover tea culture from all regions of Vietnam.
On the afternoon of November 9 at the Hanoi City Knowledge Palace, the Institute for Social Studies and the Vietnam Tea Association, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Tea-loving Community, organized the program "Vietnamese Tea - Heritage and Future" - honoring businesses that have been associated with the Vietnamese tea industry over the years.

The program "Vietnamese Tea - Heritage and Future" brings a distinct difference compared to previous tea industry honoring programs with the meaning of not only being an honoring event but also a journey to discover tea culture from all regions of Vietnam, because each tea-growing province has its own unique tea culture. That is also the reason why the Vietnamese Tea Lovers Community cooperates with the Vietnam-ASEAN Creative Cultural Entrepreneur Development Network and the Vietnam Tea Association to organize a connection, emphasizing the importance of consuming domestic tea products, encouraging people to enjoy Vietnamese tea.
Previously, the Vietnamese Tea Lovers Community has been implementing many practical and meaningful activities, connecting from root to tip, from tea growers to tea drinkers, creating a solid network for the sustainable development of the Vietnamese tea industry.

In particular, the program also includes a discussion on "Vietnamese Tea Journey" with prestigious speakers from ministries and sectors presenting the current situation and solutions for the Vietnamese tea industry, as well as opportunities and challenges in exporting tea to international markets. This is also an opportunity for experts and guests to discuss and share new ideas for sustainable development of the tea industry.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Hoang Vinh Long - Chairman of the Vietnam Tea Association said: The Association plays an important role in promoting tea production and consumption, as well as supporting businesses in developing their brands. Not only to honor the contributions of entrepreneurs in the tea industry, the program "Vietnamese Tea - Heritage and Future" also aims to raise awareness of the value of tea in the daily lives of Vietnamese people.
The organizers hope to encourage everyone to enjoy and love Vietnamese tea products, from cups of tea in the family to sophisticated products in restaurants and tea shops. This is also an opportunity for us to explore and preserve the unique cultural values of tea of the nation, while developing the tea industry in a sustainable and modern direction.

Over the past time, the Vietnamese Tea Lovers Community has been constantly striving to bring tea culture closer to the public through activities at tea shops and tea events across the country. Mr. Kieu Minh Quy - representative of the Vietnamese Tea Lovers Community added that from tea tasting sessions, discussions, sharing knowledge about tea, to tea making classes, instructing how to enjoy tea properly, the Community has breathed life into each cup of tea, arousing the passion and love for tea in everyone's heart. These activities not only introduce types of tea and how to make tea, but also convey the cultural and spiritual values hidden in each pot of tea.
According to Mr. Do Ngoc Van, Director of the Institute for Social Studies - the governing body of the Vietnam-ASEAN Network for Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship Development, Vietnamese tea is currently exported to more than 70 countries and territories, but the average export price is only 65% of the average price of the leading tea exporting countries and ranks 5th in the world in tea production and export. Despite the large output and export quantity, the value of this product is not high, the competitiveness of the product is still low, the product price is unstable in the international market and still depends on a number of major markets.

That is also the reason why the program "Vietnamese Tea - Heritage and Future" hopes that the domestic tea industry will be focused on and developed more. This will be a great opportunity for entrepreneurs, businesses and tea lovers to exchange and share experiences as well as enjoy tea in a solemn atmosphere, honoring the traditional beauty in tea culture.
