This is the second time the Miss Sea Vietnam contest has been held in Binh Thuan province with the approval document signed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province on March 26, 2025.
Previously, the Copyright Office (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) issued the Copyright Certificate of the contest No. 3578/2024/QTG dated May 13, 2024 to the owner, Hoang Duy International Entertainment Media Company Limited.

It is expected that the official rounds of the Miss Sea Vietnam 2025 contest will take place from December 28 to 31 this year, in which the national final will be held on the night of December 31 at the Binh Thuan Provincial Cultural Center in Phan Thiet city.
The contest will not only be a beauty pageant but also a bridge to spread love for Vietnam's sea and islands. The special highlight that has been kept from the first season is that the coronation moment of the new Miss Sea will take place on New Year's Eve 2026, symbolizing the beginning of the new Miss on the journey to inspire love for the homeland's sea and islands.

Another difference from season 1, this year's contest has a change in the rules that allows contestants who have had plastic surgery to participate. Talking about this change, Miss Le Thi Tho said: "The organizing committee completely respects the legitimate right to beauty of each contestant and opens the door to the contest for beauties who have had plastic surgery as an affirmation that beauty does not only come from nature, originality but also from the effort to dare to change, improve and the right to self-determination of each girl".
We appreciate all beauty as long as it exudes the confidence, charisma and bravery of Vietnamese women, and also believe that beauty is not only a privilege, a gift but also a choice and effort.

The Miss Sea Vietnam 2025 contest is organized with the aim of raising public awareness about protecting the marine environment, promoting the potential of sea and island tourism and arousing national pride in the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands. The contest promises to bring an exciting new season, where contestants not only shine with their physical beauty but also with their intelligence, bravery, compassion and love for their homeland's sea and islands.

Besides the organization of the contest, which has not changed much compared to season 1, with Master, Miss Le Thi Tho and Miss Le Thi Lieu as the President and Vice President of the contest; journalist Huynh Ngoc Kim Trang as Head of the Organizing Committee; People's Artist, Runner-up Trinh Kim Chi and businesswoman Hai Yen as Head and Vice Judges, the new feature of this contest is that Miss Sea Vietnam Nguyen Hoai Linh also participates in the Jury.

Currently, the contest has officially recruited female contestants from 18 to 35 years old, with Vietnamese nationality, living and working in Vietnam.
