In the first months of 2025, the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Chau Phu District Party Committee have led and directed the implementation of political tasks well, such as: Carrying out the work of building the Party organization and improving the quality of Party activities; leading and directing the implementation of political and ideological education for cadres and Party members; enhancing the supervisory role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the People and the quality of activities of socio-political organizations from the district to the commune. Social security and gratitude policies have been fully, promptly and to the right subjects. Implementing the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, by the end of March 2025, the locality has completed the construction of 145/167 houses. Since the beginning of the year, jobs have been created for 1,635 workers, reaching 36.33% of the plan. Chau Phu district is focusing on implementing the administrative reform plan in the district and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to carry out the task of self-assessment and scoring the administrative reform index in 2025. Supporting to resolve difficulties and problems of enterprises and cooperatives, in order to unlock resources, ensure state budget revenue, and promote growth. At the same time, focusing on directing the implementation of contents on organization and streamlining.

Implementing the Project "Sustainable development of 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice cultivation associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta region by 2030" in the district, in the winter-spring crop of 2024 - 2025, the locality has mobilized farmers to participate in over 2,126 hectares of rice cultivation following the steps of the production process: Reducing seeds, fertilizers, pesticides... Of which, there are 16 models, with an area of ​​over 250 hectares, following 8 contents in the technical cultivation process of the project. In the first quarter, new business licenses were granted to 90 production and business establishments, with a total capital of over 8 billion VND. Implementing the national target program and key programs, plans and projects, Chau Phu district has completed the dossier and been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as two communes of Khanh Hoa and Binh Thuy meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

At the 21st meeting of the District Party Executive Committee, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Chau Phu District Party Committee Vo Nguyen Nam emphasized that in the first quarter, with the solidarity and determination of the entire district political system, the flexibility of authorities at all levels, the Party building work, mass mobilization work and socio-economic situation of the district have achieved the set plan, national defense and security have been maintained, social order and safety have been ensured. Based on the assessment and forecast of the economic, political and social situation in the coming time, comrade Vo Nguyen Nam requested that the district Party committees, authorities and sectors continue to strengthen solidarity and successfully carry out the set political tasks.

In particular, strengthen supervision of the implementation of the plan of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on promoting studying and following the examples of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in 2025 for the branches and affiliated Party Committees. Strengthen the assessment of public opinion related to the fight against ideological, moral and lifestyle degradation; against corruption, waste, opportunistic lifestyle, pragmatism, and saying does not match doing of cadres and Party members. Continue the inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party; focus on inspecting and supervising Party organizations, heads, key leaders and managers in areas and positions where negativity is likely to occur and there are signs of public opinion violations.

At the same time, review and evaluate the implementation results of Directive 28-CT/TW of the Secretariat on improving the quality of Party membership admission, reviewing, screening, and removing unqualified Party members from the Party; focusing on building and effectively maintaining skillful mass mobilization models. Pay attention to leading the implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies on religious and ethnic affairs. Continue to deploy and replicate the models: "Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space" in places of worship in the district, "Friendly Government for the People's Service".

Regarding the task of socio-economic development, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Secretary of Chau Phu District Party Committee Vo Nguyen Nam proposed to continue implementing the Project "Sustainable development of 1 million hectares of high-quality and low-emission rice cultivation associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta region by 2030" in the district. Strengthen and innovate the organizational structure and operation of cooperatives and cooperative groups; support farmers in accessing enterprises to consume agricultural products; deploy measures to prevent and combat natural disasters and respond to climate change. At the same time, speed up the implementation progress and disbursement of capital for key projects and works of the district, promptly remove difficulties for ongoing projects, the implementation process must ensure the correct order and procedures according to legal regulations. Strengthen State management and inspection of construction order and land management in the area, especially public lands managed by the State. Continue to effectively implement social security policies, complete the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district before April 15, 2025...

From now until July 1, 2025, the Chau Phu District Party Committee will urgently and resolutely carry out its regular tasks and the task of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system in parallel. Accordingly, the advisory and support agencies of the District Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the District People's Committee will urgently carry out procedures to complete the projects on reorganizing administrative units and organizing the apparatus of the district's political system; advise on reviewing the criteria for assessing the capacity and ethics of cadres, civil servants, and workers as a basis for arranging and assigning them to work at the newly established unit. The District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department focuses on political and ideological orientation, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, resolutely fighting and refuting the wrong views of hostile forces...
