On October 2, the group Da LAB released the MV "New Sky" - the title track of the upcoming album. This is also the product marking the last time the group leader Cao will work together before officially leaving the group.
The song has a cheerful melody, full of energy. The story in the song, although it is about separation, is in a positive, healing direction. In particular, the MV attracted attention with the appearance of football player Van Toan. Although appearing for only a few seconds, Van Toan's character still created a "twist" (unexpected situation) for the main couple.
This is also a rare occasion that Van Toan accepts to appear in an artist's MV. Sharing about this, the Da LAB group said: "Tho's wife has been a "hardcore fan" of Van Toan for 20 years, so they have known each other for a long time. Van Toan also likes listening to Da LAB's music, so the two came together very naturally.
When we invited him, Van Toan accepted immediately, completely free of charge, without any demands. Later, the group hopes to be invited by Van Toan to sing at weddings so that they can reciprocate this favor, but it has to be soon or the group will disband" (laughs).

As for Van Toan, he also compared Da LAB to his "exception". Before accepting the offer, the male player took a long time to think because this was not his expertise, but in the end, Van Toan had a memorable experience.
"In the MV, for the first time I knelt down to propose in front of everyone. I never thought of this in my life. After working, I felt very happy and also wanted to appear in other MVs of the group, but it would be difficult," Van Toan said.
One unforgettable thing about Da LAB is that this MV was filmed on the day Typhoon Yagi hit Hanoi. The MV was scheduled to be filmed in 2 days, but due to the typhoon, it had to be cut down to 1 day. This made the crew very difficult to arrange their work, and many scenes were cut.
The whole crew worked in harsh weather conditions, it rained heavily in the afternoon and luckily the rain stopped in the evening when everything was finished.

The song also marks the departure of group leader Cao after 17 years with Da LAB. The group said that the 4 members discussed and exchanged thoroughly when making the decision and affirmed that this was a "civilized farewell", without conflict, stemming from Cao's personal wishes.
The male rapper also affirmed that even though he left the group, his brotherhood with the remaining 3 members remains unchanged and they will always be ready to help each other when needed.
After this MV, the group will release their first album in their career on October 5.
