Titan Agung and Komang Teguh were involved in a brawl at the 32nd SEA Games final against Thailand. At that time, an Indonesian player was said to have celebrated provoking the Thai U22 coaching staff, causing the opponent to get angry and rush to fight each other.

According to the penalty, 3 Indonesian players will be suspended, banned from playing 6 matches in official tournaments organized by AFC. Titan Agung and Komang Teguh are 2 of the 3 players punished. They must pay an additional fine of 1,000 USD. Komang Teguh alone will be suspended for 1 more match because of the red card in the match.

On the Thai side, two players who received AFC penalties were Chayapipat Supunpasuch and Purachet Thodsanit, while two assistants of this team were also banned from practicing for a long time.

While Thailand changed almost all of its squad compared to SEA Games 32, Indonesia still kept more than half of its force, with Titan Agung and Komang Teguh as the pillars.

They were registered for the Southeast Asian U23 tournament because coach Shin Tae-yong believed that the penalty was from the AFC, while the Southeast Asian U23 tournament is not part of the AFC competition system so he was still allowed to use these players.

But before the first match with Malaysia at 8:00 p.m. tonight (August 18), AFC "blew the whistle" on U23 Indonesia, forcing coach Shin Tae-yong to remove Komang Teguh and Titan Agung from the squad.

Komang and Titan still have a chance to play in the next match if the Indonesian Football Federation petitions the AFF on the grounds that the AFC's penalty is applied to another tournament, not this U23 Southeast Asian event. According to Indonesian media, the decision of the AFC and AFF is controversial.
